May is a month of anniversaries for me. On May 23rd Dennis and I were married (in 2008). And on May 30th, 2013 I became an American citizen. The video above has a few clips about the process of me becoming “proud to be an American.”

Happy New Month! Welcome to the beautiful month of May, that brings a fresh chapter, a new opportunity, and a divine moment to walk in faith, purpose, and gratitude.

Each new month brings with it a reminder that God is doing something new and beautiful in our lives. No matter what the past months have held, or brought into your life, May is a time to press forward, believe again, and trust that, the Lord is making a way where there seemed to be none.   And I will encourage you with this word of God that says, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:19. As we journey into May, I pray that you will walk in divine strength, renewed joy, and the peace that passes all understanding. May this month be filled with answered prayers, open doors, and moments that remind you of God’s goodness, in Jesus’ name. Let’s make this month a great one.
